Arthur’s Town is a town situated on Cat Island in the Bahamas. It is located on the north side of the island housing many beaches and shops. Port Howe and Orange Creek are the other two major towns placed on Cat Island along with Arthur’s Town. Some historical sites around Arthur’s Town include Mt. Alvernia Hermitage, St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church and Deveaux House.

It is noted that, a famous actor, film director, author and diplomat, Sir Sidney Poitier spent his childhood in Arthur’s Town and also the town hosts an airport.
