Cochabamba is the capital city of Cochabamba Department in Bolivia country. History of Cochabamba:
Cochabamba was occupied by indigenous ethic groups for more than 1,000 years because of fertile lands. The first Spanish to settlement in Cochabamba was in the year 1542 and city was established in the year 1571 and named as Villa de Oropesa became a major agricultural production center. King Charles III of Spain renamed the city has Villa of Cochabamba in 1786.
