Kiten is a resort town on the coast of the Bulgarian Black Sea geographically positioned at 42°14′ N 27°47′ E, around 50 km from Burgas, 180 km from Varna and 435 km from Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria.

Kiten is home to two renowned beaches such as Atliman and Urdoviza which receives a large number of tourists during the summer months, especially from the countries of Slovakia, Serbia, Germany, Czech Republic and Russia.
