Aishalton is a small village situated in Rupununi south part of Guyana country in the region of Upper Takutu-Upper Essequibo. Aishalton is located at an elevation of 187 meters (614 feet) above the sea level. Aishalton is home to Rural Library Centre established in the year 1976 as a division of National Library of Guyana and has District Hospital is the only hospital in the south part of the country.
