Vevey is a town situated in the south west part of Switzerland on coast of Lake Geneva in Vaud Canton and the town is part of French Speaking area of Switzerland. Vevey is headquarters of Nestle Company and most of the people in the town are employed in agriculture followed by business, construction and manufacture. History of Vevey:

Vevey region was settled as early as the 2nd millennium BC but prospered under the Roman rule and they named the town as Viviscus and later ruled by bishopric of Lausanne and after the fall the region came under the rule of Blonay family. During the 19th century industrial activities flourished in the town and became the headquarters of Nestle Food Company.
