Montreux is situated on the shore of Lake Geneva in Riviera-Pays-d’Enhaut district in Vaud canton in Switzerland. History of Montreux:

Montreux was settled as early as Bronze Age and during the Roman rule they constructed the roads connecting to Italy and Roman villa was constructed from 2nd and 4th centuries.
