Santa Isabel is a municipal town in Puerto Rico, an unincorporated territory of the United States situated in the southern coast of Puerto Rico Island, bordered by Coamo in the north, Salinas in the east and Juana Díaz towards west. Santa Isabel is nicknamed ‘La Ciudad de los Potros’ which means ‘The City of the Colts’. Antonio Vélez was the founder of Santa Isabel, founded on October 5, 1842.
