Castle Bruce is the largest settlement of the parish of St. David in the island country Dominica. It is situated about 30 km from the national capital Roseau and 58 km from Portsmouth.

Other villages coming under St. David parish along with Castle Bruce are Grand Fond, Rosalie, Good Hope, San Sauveur, Morne Jaune, Riviere Cyrique and Petit Soufriere. Carib Territory of Dominica also falls under the administration of Saint David parish.

 

Geography of Castle Bruce:

Castle Bruce is located on the east coast of the island between latitude 15°26′30″ in the north and longitude 61°15′25″ in the west. St. David Parish is surrounded by the parish of St. Patrick in the south, St. Andrew towards north and St. Paul,  St. George  and St. Joseph in the west.

Morne Watt or Watt Mountain is the 3rd highest peak of Dominica located at an altitude of 1,224 meters. The highest peaks of Dominica are Morne Diablotins and Morne Trois Pitons.
