Trujillo is one of the states of Venezuela comprising of 20 municipalities and 93 parishes. Trujillo is the capital and Valera is the largest city of Trujillo and the state occupies a total area of 7,400 km². Trujillo is home to the campus of the University of the Andes.

History of Trujillo:
