San Miguel is a city in San Miguel department in El Salvador in Central America is the 3rd most populous city in the country and very prominent in Salvadorean city. San Miguel is the capital of San Miguel department and spans over an area of 593.98 square kilometers is situated at an elevation of 129 meters (423 feet) above the sea level. There are several educational institutions in the city and some of them are oldest in the country.
