Madhopur is a town located in Pathankot district in Punjab situated at an altitude of 1089 feet above sea level. History of Madhopur:

Formerly Madhopur used to be a princely state of Nurpur ruled by Pathiana Rajputs in the year 1849 A.D. Madhopur is also called as the “Gateway of Punjab” since it has access to 3 North Indian States namely Punjab, Jammu & Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh. It is also become a prominent hub for the Indian Army in recent times.
