Nimaj is a survey town placed in Jaitaran Taluk in Pali district in the Indian State of Rajasthan. It is situated about 212 km southwest of state capital Jaipur and about 472 southwest of national capital Delhi. Nimaj is located between 26.1497° N latitude and 74.0000° E longitude and is positioned about 315 meters from the mean level of sea.

Nimaj witnessed the rule of Gurjar Pratihar and they constructed Magarmandi Mata Temple and other famous temples during 9th century. Rao Uda Ji and Thakur Jagram Sing were the major Kings to rule Nimaj region in the past.
