Neemrana is a historical town in Behror Taluk in Alwar district in the Indian state of Rajasthan. It lies on Delhi-Jaipur highway situated about 146 km from state capital Rajasthan and about 120 km away from national capital Delhi. Neemrana Town is placed between 27°59′20″ N latitude and 76°23′18″ E longitude. Neemrana is well known for ancient historical monuments and tourist destinations.

Neemrana is one of the industrial hubs of the state under Delhi NCR Region. The Rajasthan Government established several industrial units in Neemrana. Apart from the RIICO, numerous Indian and Foreign Companies have also set up their manufacturing units all over Neemrana region. Neemrana is flourishing in the field of education along with industrialization and houses NIIT University and Raffles University.

Neemrana mainly witnessed the rule of Chauhan Dynasty. Mughal, Yadavas, Rajputs and British also ruled for many years.

Sariska Tiger Reserve:

Sariska Tiger Reserve is a National Park of India situated in Alwar. It is stretch over an area of 866 sq. km. and was announced as a wildlife reserve in the year 1955. Sariska Tiger Reserve is home to Bengali Tiger, jungle cat, striped hyen, leopard, golden jackal, nilgai, sambha and chinkara. Also variety of birds like grey partridge, bush quail, sand grouse, tree pie, golden-backed woodpecker can see here.

 

Badalgarh Fort:

Badalgarh fort is one of the historical monuments of the state situated in Jhunjhunu (120 km away from Neemrana) and was constructed by Nawab Fazl Khan during the 17th century. The fort has massive fortified walls with small windows.

Jai Samand Lake is a prominent picnic spot covering an area of 1.5 km. It is situated 6 km away from Alwar Town Centre. Jai Samand Lake is considered as the 2nd biggest manmade lake in Asia and the months of monsoon season will be the great time to reach Jai Samand Lake.
