Treasure Cay is a coastal community located on Abaco Island of Bahamas at 26°40′34.95″ N 77°17′36.74″ W, about 165 miles from Fort Lauderdale in Florida, USA. It is on the east coast of Abaco famous for its 5-star golf course and many well maintained striking beaches including the big crescent beach.

There is an sporting event ‘The Great Abaco Family Fitness Weekend’ organized in the month of March every year which includes sprint and Olympic triathlons, open water swim and fun running competitions  participated by both the natives and visitors. Treasure Cay is also home to a bakery, a bar and restaurant, a library, general store and a club.

 

How to reach Treasure Cay?

Treasure Cay has its own airport with connections to Marsh Harbour by Bahamasair and Fort Lauderdale in Florida by Silver Airways. Tourists can reach Treasure Cay town by taking taxi or car from the airport.

To move within city, to reach restaurants and to visit tourist spots, tourists can use rental taxis of cars and these options are generally available in the town centre.

Treasure Cay is also reachable through sea by water taxi or boats from the neighboring islands.
