San Pedro Garza Garcia is a city and municipality in Nuevo Leon state of Mexico. It belongs to Monterrey Metropolitan area covers an area of 69.4 sq. km. The major identities of San Pedro Garza Garcia include Chipinque Ecological Park, La Huasteca Climbing Area and Cerro de Chipinque. Garza Garcia was added to the name of San Pedro in the honor of then governor of Nuevo Leon, Genaro Garza Garcia in 1882.
