Kangra District in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. It is situated about 205 km northwest of state capital city Shimla. Jwalamukhi is located between latitude 31.88° in the north and longitude 76.32° in the east and is positioned about 610 meters from the mean level of sea.

Jwalamukhi is widely known for Jwalamukhi Devi Temple dedicated to goddess Jwalamukhi. This temple lies on Dharamsala-Shimla Road situated about 21 km from Jwalamukhi Railway Station. It is one of the most famous temples of Goddess Durga.

Jwalamukhi Devi Temple is a historical temple and also has several theories about its origin. The famous King Mahmud Ghazni demolished Jwalamukhi Devi Temple during the period of 11th century. After a few years, the local kings of Jwalamukhi redeveloped the temple with great design and architecture. The temple was visited by Maharaja Ranjit Singh in the year 1815 and he had donated gold plates to Jwalamukhi Devi Temple.

Judges Court:
