Gavar is the capital city of Gegharkunik region, Armenia. It lies in the Armenian terrains. It has an altitude of 1,982 meters above the sea level. Getik State Reservation
It is found about 45 km from the Gavar city and was constructed in the year 1971. It was built to shelter the lush forest vegetation.
