Canach is a town located in the Lenningen commune in Luxembourg, around 16 km east of the national capital, Luxembourg City. It is the seat of the commune of Lenningen well known for the Kikuoka Country Club, the largest golf course in Luxembourg and major depot of Emile Weber which is Luxembourg’s largest bus company.

Canach is also famous for its natural and manmade tourist attractions which draw a large group of tourists from all around Europe.

 

Geography of Canach:

Canach is situated in the south-eastern part of the country, between 49°36′ N latitude and 6°20′ E longitude.

 

Connectivity to Canach:

Canach is served by Luxembourg Findel Airport which is situated near Luxembourg City, around 12 km away from the centre of Canach town.

Buses are regular between the airport and Canach and also one can hire taxi at the airport for comfort journey.

World War II Luxembourg American Cemetery and Memorial:

The World War II Luxembourg American Cemetery and Memorial is one of the most important tourist attractions in Luxembourg, located in the eastern part of Luxembourg City, around 15 km away from Canach. This cemetery boasts the remains of 5,076 American military members and General George Patton. It is open for tourists from 9AM-5PM every day. The entrance is free.

 

MUDAM:
