Bhongir is a town under Nalgonda district in Telangana, geographically positioned at 17.51° N 78.89° E. Bhongir Fort is the most famous tourist attraction of Bhongir, constructed by the Western Chalukya ruler Tribhuvanamalla Vikramaditya VI. It is a wonderful structure, especially noted for very much impressive fortified courts. Lying on hill, Bhongir Fort is also famous among visitors as a great sightseeing spot.
