Aruba is an island country located towards the Southern Caribbean Sea at 12°30′ N 69°58′ W. The island of Aruba measures a length of 33 km is situated around 27 km north of Venezuela’s coast. Aruba belongs to Lesser Antilles covering an area of 179 sq. km.

History of Aruba:

It is likely believed that, Caquetios Amerinds from the Arawak tribe were the first inhabitants of Aruba. On 1st January 1986, Aruba achieved autonomous status from the Netherlands Antilles.
