Nordsøen Oceanarium:

Nordsøen Oceanarium or North Sea Oceanarium is one of the biggest aquariums in Europe. It was initially established in 1984 with name Nordsomuseet (the North Sea Museum) and was extended in 1998 by adding 4.5 million liters of water containing fish tank. It was once damaged by fire in December 2003 and was re-inaugurated on July 22nd 2005. The aquarium is currently home to 70 different fish species. It is open from 9AM-5PM and the entrance fee is 130 Kr (adults) and 55 Kr (children).

 

Hirtshals Lighthouse:

Hirtshals Lighthouse measures a height of 35 meters and offers great views of the surrounding countryside and sea. It was built during 1860s with red brick. Tourists can visit Hirtshals Lighthouse between 10AM-5PM by paying 20 Kr (10 Kr for children).
