Saint-Benoit is one of the communes belonging to Reunion Island, a French overseas department, in the Indian Ocean. It is situated on the eastern portion of the Reunion Island, around 40 km southeast of the capital of Reunion, Saint-Denis, between 21°02′02″ S latitude and 55°42′46″ E longitude. Saint-Benoit is home to the largest lake on the island, Grand Étang. Also there is a waterfall, called Bras d’Annette waterfall, situated near the lake. Saint-Benoit houses a vanilla cooperative factory, many grand churches, shops and restaurants. Saint-Benoit covers a total area of 229.61 sq. km.

Saint-Benoit is served by the Roland Garros Airport, the most important airport of Saint-Benoit, situated around 40 km northwest of the heart of Saint-Benoit.
