Sainte-Suzanne is one of the communes of Reunion, an island and French overseas department. It is located on the northern coast of the island, between 20°54′20″ S latitude and 55°36′26″ E longitude. It shares its borders with the communes like Sainte-Marie, Salazie and Saint-André and is situated around 25 km east of the heart of Saint-Denis, the capital of Reunion. The first governor of Reunion, Étienne Regnault, was the founder of Sainte-Suzanne, founded in the year 1667 along with Saint-Denis. Sainte-Suzanne is home to an enthralling attraction, Niagara Falls, which is famous among both locals and visitors.  Sainte-Suzanne sprawls over an area of 58.84 sq. km.

 

Connectivity to Sainte-Suzanne:

There is no airport in Sainte-Suzanne, but the nearest airport, Roland Garros Airport, is not very far from Sainte-Suzanne, around 20 km. The distance can be crossed by bus or taxi or pre-booked private transfer. The Roland Garros Airport connects Reunion Island to Mauritius, Paris, Johannesburg, Marseille, Antananarivo, Antsiranana, Nosy Be, Tôlanaro, Toliara, Bangkok, Chennai and many overseas destinations.
