History of Mehsana:

Mehsana was established by Mehsaji Chavda of Chawda Dynasty and built various palaces and temples in the region and Gaekwads captured Vadodara and later Kadi moved to Mehsana in the year 1902. After the independence in the year 1947, Mehsana merged with India.
