Lospalos is a capital city in Lautem District in East Timor which occupies an area of 1702 sq. km, placed about 212 away from Dili, the capital of East Timor and is located between 8°31′ south latitude and 127°00′ east longitude. Lospalos is also spelled as Los Palos and Lospala.

Lospalos is well known for its ‘A’ shaped sacred houses and ancient monuments. It is surrounded by the famous tourist destinations like Lake Iralalaro, Nino Konis Santana Marine and Terrestrial National Park. Also Lospalos is good in education and infrastructure sectors.
