Baiersbronn is a municipality belonging to the district of Freudenstadt in the state of Baden-Württemberg in Germany. It is situated 95 km southwest of the state capital, Stuttgart and 720 km southwest of the national capital, Berlin. Baiersbronn is especially noted for its world class award winning restaurants.

Baiersbronn is located in the Black Forest on the banks of River Murg in southern Germany at 48°30′21″ N 8°22′16″ E at an elevation of 584 meters. Baiersbronn spans over an area of 189.70 sq. km.

Baiersbronn is made up of 9 villages namely Friedrichstal, Mitteltal, Baiersbronn, Tonbach, Huzenbach, Klosterreichenbach, Schönmünzach-Schwarzenberg, Röt-Schönegründ and Obertal.

The municipality of Baiersbronn was established in the 1960s and upgraded in 1970s by merging other five municipalities.
