Marawanthe beach is one of the beautiful beaches of Karnataka located about 45 kms away from Udupi. Marawanthe beach known for its scenic beauty and sandy seashore is surrounded by Arabian Sea on one side and Souparnika River on the other side.

The most attractive part of the beach is the view of sunset and the turtles. Its been a host for various categories of turtles that comes in and out of the sea. The dusk’s view of sun set is the most amusing moment for everyone. The sunset sets the whole place tinted in the shade of sepia just out of a painter’s canvas. Studded with several places of excursion, the town is adorned with a stark backdrop of Kodachadri Hills, while Arabian Sea bounds it from one side and Sauparnika River on the other side.
