History of Panama City:

Panama City was established in the year 1519 by Governor Pedro Arias Davila and named as Panama Viejo and Panama mean many fishes. Panama was the major trading centre of the country and later in the year 1671 the city was destroyed by Henry. After the destruction, the new city was planned and executed in the year 1674 and named as the Panama Nuevo. Later the city developed and expanded rapidly from the year 1904.
