Bol is a small town in Brac Island in the county of Spilt-Dalmatia of Croatia situated on the south of the island. Bol is situated at the distance of 50 kilometers from Split around 2 hours ride from boat is one of the historical and tourism towns in the Dalmatia County and spans an area of 23 square kilometers (9 square miles) and highest peak in the town is Mountt Vidova Gora 778 meters above the sea level. Bol was inhabited since 12th century by Iliryians tribe later Romans established themselves in the town and later the town was ruled by Venetia and Croatian- Hungarian monarchy.
