This sanctuary is located on the banks of River Beas and is positioned at an altitude of about 3000 feet. The sanctuary is surrounded by full of khair, shisam, tun, sain, amla and sal trees.

Kalesar Wildlife Sanctuary is home to chital, barking deer, gorals, sambar, wild boar, Rhesus macaque monkeys, red jungle fowls, panthers, tigers and leopards. 100 years old colonial Dak Bungalow is the major attraction of the sanctuary.

 

Chaudhary Devi Lal Herbal Nature Park:

Chaudhary Devi Lal Herbal Nature Park is a study centre sited on the Yamuna Nagar-Paonta Road in the vicinity of Chuharpur Village. It was established in the year 2001, exports therapeutic plants and ayurvedic drugs to different parts of globe.

The park occupies an area of about 185 acres and houses nearly 310 therapeutic plants, shrubs, climbers and herbs.
