History of Reykjavik:

It is believed that the Reykjavik region was established by people from Norway around 870 AD and later King of Denmark, Frederik V donated the region in 1752 to the Innréttingar Corporation and development was stared later in the year 1755 and people of the region were engaged in fishing, sulphur mining, agriculture and shipbuilding. During the World War II, in the year 1940 British captured the Reykjavik and ceased the harbor.
