History of Boleslawiec:

Boleslawiec is one the oldest towns in the country and was invaded from the year 1241 and the town was walled in the year 1251. Boleslawiec became prominent center of the Protestant Reformation and in the year 1531, many developments occurred like sewage and water supply system, schools and hospitals. During the Second World War the town was destroyed but later in the 1960s, ceramic workshops were established in the town.
