Manila is the second biggest city and the capital of Philippines situated on the eastern shore of Manila Bay. History of Manila:

Manila was ruled by Maynila Kingdom and it was called as Ginto before the rule and the region flourished during the rule of Ming Dynasty and trade route was started between China and Philippines and later ruled by Majapahit, Sultan Bolkiah.

Spanish East India Company was established in the region in the year 1571 and it became one of the trading hubs in the region and later was ruled by Americans in the year 1898.
