History of Baramati
Being a famous historical place in the history of Maharashtra state it is located near the Karha river. In ancient times, Baramati was ruled by Yadavas of Devgiri. The collapse of Yadavas rule in Baramati, became an opportunity to the Bahamas of Gulbarga whole ruled this place.
In the year 1603, Baramati was ruled the Marathas under the kingship of Malojiraje Bhosale. In 1745, Babuji Naik was given charge by the then Maratha king.
