Zabol is a city situated in Sistan and Baluchestan Province in Iran, about 210 kms from provincial capital Zahedan. It is the capital of Zabol County which shares its borders with Afghanistan and Pakistan countries.

Zabol is situated about 1670 km southeast of national capital Tehran. Zabol is famous for its “120 day wind”. The three districts of Zabol County are Central District, Shib Ab District, and Posht Ab District.

Zabol is placed between latitude 31°01′43″ in the north and longitude 61°30′04″ in the east.
