Trat is a province in Thailand located in the east part of Thailand sharing the border with Cambodia. Trat covers an area of 2,819.0 Sq Kms and consists of various islands and Trat is identified for gemstone mining and trading and economy of the province depends on mining and trading.

Trat is surrounded by Mueang Chanthaburi, Tah Mai, Makham, Na Yai Am, Pong Nam, Rayong, Koh Kong and Moung Roessei province of Cambodia and it is located 330 Kms away from Bangkok, capital of Thailand and coordinates of Trat is 12.4000° N, 102.5167° E.
