History of Lucerne:

Lucerne was ruled by Romans and rule of the Romans was ended in 6^th century and Germanic Alemannic populaces occupied the region but later in 9^th century Murbach Abbey occupied the city. Lucerne became one of the popular cities in 1415 and developed in infrastructure and taxes were increased in the city but population of the city was dropped due to the Black Plague. During the French Revolution, new government was formed in the country.
