History of Bucharest:

Bucharest was first attested in the year 1459 as the Citadel of Bucuresti and during the 18th century Ottomans selected Geek administrator to govern the town and ruled until the year 1821. Mircea Ciobanul constructed the Old Princely Court and later became the center due the increase in the various activities and developments in the city. Bucharest declared as the capital of Romania in the year 1862.
