Brikama is a city in Gambia, situated around 30 km south-southwest of the national capital, Banjul. It comes under the Brikama Local Government Area, housing a population of around 57,000 people. Brikama is famous as a site for wood carving shopping and is also the home town of many recognized national musicians.
