History of Atlanta:

Creek and Cherokee Indians were inhabited in the region prior the arrival of Europeans in Georgia. Between the years 1802 to 1821, populace from north Georgia settled in Atlanta and road and rail link was developed between Savannah and Midwest in the year 1836.
