Moba is a town situated in the Tanganyika District in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, around 140 km southeast of the city of Kalemie, 860 km northwest of the country’s second largest city Lubumbashi and 2500 km east of Kinshasa, the national capital. Moba is located on the western shore of the Lake Tanganyika, between 7.03982° S latitude and 29.766147° E longitude. Moba is also situated close to the flow of the Mulobozi River and to the steep hills range Marungu highlands.
