History of Aktobe:

The Aktobe region, over time, bared witness to the rise and fall of various Empires and Cultures that once existed. After the construction of a fort within the Province during the year 1869, the region experienced the arrival of various settlements in and around Aktobe with people from other places migrating to this area. In the 19th and 20th century, Aktobe became a well civilized place. Technology such as the railway links were formed in the region before the onset of World War I. The place began to boom even as the war continued.

Aktobe city was almost brought to rubbles by the events that place, in the year 1905, during the Russian Revolution. Because of the railway link in Aktobe the region played an important role in the Russian Civil War during the period from 25th October 1917 to 29th October 1922 between the Red army and White opponents.
