History of Omoa:

Omoa was the small Pueblo de indios town along with the Indian town of Chachaguala in the year 1536 and due to the continuous pirate raids on the Caribbean Coast of Central America and in the year 1590, Spanish General of Guatemala found the new coast to export the goods to Spain.

 

In the year 1752, Omoa was established as the Spanish colonial town and had planned to develop the Omoa which includes hospital, a church, and warehouse to develop the town.
