Dickwella also called as Dikwella is a small town situated in Matara district in Southern province of Sri Lanka is placed about 22 kms from district main town Dickwella and about 183 kms southeast of national capital Colombo. Dickwella is famous for long sandy beach and tallest Buddha statue (50 meters) of Sri Lanka.

Dickwella is placed between latitude 05°58′ in the north and longitude 080°41′ in the east.
