Mansa is situated in Mansa district in East Punjab on the Bathinda-Jind Railway line located at an elevation of 696 feet above sea level. History of Mansa:

It is said that Mansa existed even during the times of Indus Valley Civilization. Mansa is said to be founded by Bhai Gurdas who prevailed from Dhingar, a district in Mansa. It was a part of Phulkia Sikh Dynasty between 1722 A.D. to 1762 A.D. and was part of Kaithal Sikh Kingdom from 1762 A.D. to 1857. Mansa got separated from Bathinda district and formed has the own district in the year 1992.

The village has been named after two brothers belonging to khatri community by name Budh and Lada and the town was originally a part of Khaitar state lying on Bhatinda-Delhi railway line.
