Gleno is the capital city of Ermera District in East Timor. It is placed about 61 kms away from national capital Dili. Gleno is positioned at a height of 882 meters above the mean level of sea and is sited between 8°43′26″ S latitude and 125°26′10″ E longitude.

In recent years, Gleno is heading towards rapid development. Due to its near proximity with national capital Dili, its road infrastructure is upgraded and several small industries have started their operations in Gleno.
