Miramar Beach is the one that joins the estuary of the river Mandovi and opens at the Arabian Sea it is situated close to the capital Panaji, about 3 kms far from the city. As the climate is very peaceful in the month of October to May the party season is the best time to reach this beach. This beach is known for its beauty, during monsoons the sea under the gray sky with the waves crashing on the shore gives the best view to your eyes. Though they are required for adventure it is better that you avoid coming to this place during this season, as the waves turn very furious.    

The Majorda beach is 16.1 kms from Vasco da Gama by the Dabolim-Cavelossim Road, MDR43, and the NH566. It is 11.6 kms from Margao, and the Colva beach is only 6.4 kms away. How to Reach Miramar Beach

The nearest railway station is Karmali Railway Station about 12 kms away. Other stations are Margao and Vasco Da Gama railway stations. By road; the bus stand is just 3kms from the beach. It takes only 15 minutes to reach the beach by bus.

Dabolim International Airport is the nearest airport from Miramar Beach, located at a distance of 28km. The nearest railway station from the beach is Thivim, 25km away. Tourists can board a bus or auto. However, it should be noted that the services for these are quite infrequent. The best option is renting a vehicle or hiring a taxi.

The best thing to do here is take morning and evening walks and try out the local stuff like Shawarma and Bhel Puri which are sold here in every second shop. Other fast food items too are worth trying if you are not that cleanliness crazy. This beach is quite crowded with a number of local people coming here.
