Hazyview is a town situated in the Ehlanzeni district of Mpumalanga province in the northeastern part of South Africa, between 25°02′ S latitude and 31°07′ E longitude, around 400 km northeast of Johannesburg, the largest city of South Africa. Hazyview is spread over an area of 22.69 sq. km, home to a population of around 4,230 people. Hazyview is a gateway to many top natural tourist destinations in the southeastern part of the country, including Kruger National Park.

It is believed that Hazyview got its name from the shimmering haze that can be seen mostly during the peak summer season. Hazyview is one of the vibrant towns of South Africa, surrounded by lines of scenic attractions, including 3 golf courses.

 

How to reach Hazyview?

Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport is the closest major airport to Hazyview, situated around 45 km south of Hazyview. The airport is served by Airlink (to Cape Town, Durban, Johannesburg, Livingstone and Vilankulo) and South African Express (to Johannesburg).
