<p>Anjuna beach is basically a small coastal village, positioned 8 kms west of Mapusa and the beach is mainly named after it. Anjuna beach is 30 kilometers long Sea is calmer compared to other beaches- makes sea bathing a safer activity. At present it is one of the most wanted beach for the hippies back in the 1970’s, and even at present Anjuna is well known for its weekly flea market that is still found. This place might be small, but is very famous in history. St. Michael’s Church, was constructed in the year 1595 and was the most famous of all the other churches of Goa and right now you need pay to visit this church, in order to gaze at its simple yet an impressive architecture. And if you are not interested in moving around, then you can simply lie on the beach for a longer time, all the way lined with palm trees and enjoying the sea while having the freshest juice of the tropical fruits found in that region.</p>
<p>Lodging is very cheap over here, and the resorts may be of bad looks but you need not have to be worried about the living conditions. Though, there may be lack of accommodation in between November and March, the tourists are at their highest population, mainly to the beach parties at nighttime. And you can find buses that travel at regular intervals from Mapusa and Panjim and the main areas where you can look for these are at Tarmac Road and Starco’s junctions.</p>
<p>The most accepted site by the tourist in this place is the Baga Beach, and is located 10 kms away from Mapusa beside Calangute, and is of great worth to visit this place mainly for its overwhelming attractive beauty. The Chapora Beach is now a bit busy all the time, and insisting you to see the Portuguese fort adjacent to Vagator. And very close to it is the Chapora fort, which the Sultan of Bijapur, Adil Shah got constructed, and on the southern side of Chapora river. Vagator Beach is again very near to Mapusa. This beach is lovely and is scattered with old-fashioned cottages, shacks and Portuguese big mansions.</p>
<p>Anjuna’s famed for its colourful nightlife spreads all over. And these more often takes place during the Christmas and New Year and specially, there are the full-moon parties held often. Leading among these is the Alcove, on the Ozran Vagator Beach, and the excellent melody is the foundation in order to tempt the tourists to the Red Cab Inn, which is right down Starco’s junctions. Additional places of celebrations are the Shore Bar, Guru Bar and the Primrose coffee shop.</p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; color: #993300;"><strong>Attractions</strong></span></p>
<p>The principal attraction of Anjuna beach is flea market, Chapora Fort. The ideal time to visit the place is from November to March. Travelers to the place visit the quaint village of Anjuna. The village occupies an area of 5 square miles. It is sandwiched between a hill and the Arabian Sea. The picturesque locale has made it popular among hippies.</p>
<p>Other than the beach, attractions in Anjuna include the Chapora fort and Mascarenhas Mansion. The Mascarenhas mansion has distinct architectural additions like classic balconies. Flowery engravings on stained glass are observed. Chapora fort is reasonably maintained except in a few parts.</p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; color: #993300;"><strong>Accommodation</strong></span></p>
<p>Accommodation at Anjuna is limited. There is a collection of small houses that can be rented. A few resorts are to be found in the main Starco&#8217;s crossroads. Visitors are advised to stay in nearby areas like Vagator and Calangute. They can visit Anjuna- which is only a short distance away. Plenty of restaurants are present. All specialize in western food and fish preparations. Cold beer is available.</p>
<p>Anjuna Beach in Goa attracts tourist due to its luxury accommodation option with first class facilities. There are many guesthouses, luxury hotels, and beach resorts around the Anjuna. The prices of all hotels and resorts varies from budget to luxury ones. You can choose from a large number of accommodations and enjoy your holiday trip with ease.</p>
