<p>The Fort turned as Gadi after so many decades. The Fort was built by King called RAJA RAYANNA in the year 1775 during Kakatiya Dynasty and the kingdom called RAJA RAYANNA PETA, over the period the name converted to RAJAPETA. It is situated over a hillock in the Nalgonda district, Telangana at a distance of 6 km from Riagir Railway station, 13 km from Bhongir and around 60 kilometers from the capital city of Hyderabad.</p>
